Come discover what it takes to get your inner hero Ready For Action when this incredible VEE Corporation production zooms into Maui with Sesame Street Live “Elmo! Ready for Action” at Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater for six shows only; Friday, June 27 through Sunday, June 29.

Like television’s Sesame Street, the stage production features timeless lessons for all ages. “Elmo! Ready for Action!” focuses on developing healthy habits in exercise, nutrition, sleep, energy and hygiene through song and dance, all in the quest to get the “super” back into Super Grover. With the razzle-dazzle of a full-blown Broadway-quality show, the production will teach children healthy habits that they can use long after the show ends… and adults in the audience will appreciate the universal appeal of cleverly written scripts and the high-tech stagecraft.
Sesame Street premiered in November 1969 on public television, breaking new ground by combining fun and laughter with good old-fashioned learning. Today the program is a global force—touching the lives of children in more than 120 countries. Sesame Street has the largest audience worldwide of any children’s television program, and has won 115 Emmy Awards, more than any other program in television history. The program has also had a profound effect on early childhood education; according to studies in the U.S., frequent viewers of Sesame Street at age two were found to have an advantage in math, vocabulary and school-readiness by age five.
