The MACC Presents…

The 2008-09 Performing Arts Season is right around the corner.

The 2008-09 Performing Arts Season at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center will bring a bevy of artists to the stage, with a brand new selection of shows beginning in September and running through May. It is a bountiful selection to be sure! Artists include Diana Krall, Bela Fleck, Kool & the Gang, Jake Shimabukuro, Mark Morris, LINES Ballet, Keali‘i Reichel, Sonny Ching, Kumu Kahua Theatre, Da Braddahs and more. There are some names you may already know, and other names you will want to know… and soon!

The MACC Season Brochure is the ‘first call’ to the full variety of performing and visual arts performances booked by The MACC to come to Maui this season. This listing is the also the call for advance ticket purchase, or a series subscription. Sports fans call them season tickets; you purchase a package of tickets before the ‘season’ starts so you can be sure to get the events you want, at the ticket level you want and first crack at seat selection!

Because it is a package deal, annual donors can save up to 20 percent on tickets. Even if you are not already a member of the annual donor program, you can still save up to 15 percent when you purchase a ticket package! Or, better yet, join the annual donor program now and enjoy the benefits immediately!

Series subscriptions for The MACC are on sale now; Single-show tickets for performances featured in the brochure will be available for purchase by annual donors on Tuesday, Sept. 2, and to the general public on Monday, Sept. 8.

The MACC’s beautiful new brochure will be in your mailbox soon if you’re in the annual donor program or a regular season subscriber. If you are not already a member and would like to receive a brochure in the mail, email info@mauiarts.org. You can view and download the brochure online at www.mauiarts.org, or pick one up at The MACC Box Office, Monday through Saturday, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
