A&B awards scholarships

Melody Rose Quito Sagario of King Kekaulike High School was among four students recently awarded scholarships by Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. Since 1971, the company has given scholarships to employees’ children who will attend college. Sagario will attend Gonzaga University.
The other three 2008 recipients are: Natashalynn Kekaha Yee-Ahnee (Aiea High School, Hawai‘i); Kelsey Dietrich (York Community High School, Ill.); and Catherine Anne Tordsen (Burlingame High School, Calif.). Each will receive a $2,500 scholarship for the 2008-2009 academic year, renewable up to three times, providing up to $10,000 in support from A&B towards his or her education.
