Lahaina Farms opens doors

The Maui News - The Sullivan Family of Cos., which operates Foodland, Sack ’N Save and Food Pantry, has opened Lahaina Farms in the Lahaina Gateway center. The store is the first of its kind on the West Side—a full-service grocery with a focus on upscale, organic and local foods. Local suppliers are reportedly welcoming the opportunity to sell their products on Maui, and shoppers are putting in requests for their favorite items. Lahaina Farms is 14,000 square feet, with a deli, butcher and seafood counter, fresh produce, bakery section, and wine section from R. Field Wine Co.
