Kilakila Employer Services has opened a new office in Lahaina at 180 Dickenson St., Suite 218. Kilakila has hired Danielle Bergan, formerly director of sales for the Maui Chamber of Commerce, to head up the new office. Kilakila is a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), which offers complete human resource services to small- and medium-size businesses. Founded and directed by Carole Kooy, Kilakila has operated for 11 years in Pukalani, and employs 23 staff members. “Through our co-employer relationship, we assist many small businesses bogged down by challenges with payroll, health benefit choices, worker’s comp insurance, claims management and safety services,” Kooy said.
