A boutique hotel called Pa‘ia Inn has opened in the heart of Pa‘ia Town at 93 Hana Highway. The building, which also houses Imrie Boutique and local artist Avi Kiriaty Art Gallery (whose artwork is in the hotel), was constructed in the early 1920s and was renovated and restored earlier this year. The inn features four guest rooms and a two-room suite, with hardwood floors, travertine bathrooms, décor lighting and a modern vibe. A gourmet deli opening soon downstairs will provide room service. The inn’s owners emphasize support for local organizations like the Pa‘ia Youth and Cultural Center, Camp Imua and the Hawai‘i Wildlife Fund. Guests checking in can choose which organization will receive a percentage of the sale. For more information, visit www.paiainn.com.
