Habitat for Humanity Maui will soon have all its services under one roof. As early as January, the organization will move to the Maui Farmers’ Cooperative Exchange at 970 Lower Main St. in Wailuku. The twice-yearly E-Cycling program will also be available at the new location. The E-cycling event has allowed island businesses and individuals to dispose of electronics that should not go into county landfills. The larger space will allow Habitat’s ongoing project, ReStore, to nearly double the size of its space. ReStore, currently located in Happy Valley, sells new and used building materials at discounted prices. Habitat will share the site with the Maui Farmers’ Cooperative Exchange, and farmers will be able to sell excess produce at the ReStore. For more information, contact Habitat for Humanity Maui at (808) 893-0334.
