Managers workshop offered

The Maui community will have the opportunity to hone its management skills at the “FranklinCovey: 7 Habits for Managers Workshop,” offered at VITEC-Maui Community College, on two Saturdays—Dec. 6 and 13. Join Certified Facilitator Lori Teragawachi at this leadership workshop, based on the work of renowned author and leadership consultant Stephen Covey. Participants will learn insights and tools to skillfully manage themselves and others, while unleashing the potential of their team. All materials are included. The workshop is $99 ($799 value) for participants who qualify for the Alexander & Baldwin Foundation Training Grant. The grant can also be applied to other business, vocational and computer technology classes. Qualified applicants include individuals (including the unemployed), sole proprietors, and small and large businesses. Businesses may send up to four employees and placement in the class is awarded given on a first-come, first-served basis.
