Highest gas prices nationwide…

Gas prices have hit another record high in Hawai‘i and nationwide. According to AAA, Hawai‘i’s average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is now at $3.781. The national average is at $3.53, but here on Maui, the average is $4.19. Compared to one year ago, prices are now up by 65 cents a gallon. “I’m outraged by high prices of gas, especially during war,” said Edgardo Meneses from Kihei. “The U.S. should be compensating the gas consumer for the cost of war during this administration.”
