A science lesson takes to the sea when Maui students learned about marine life in an inaugural Pride of America program. The cruise ship recently served as a floating classroom for 75 students from Kalama Intermediate School, Kamehameha Schools Maui and Kihei Charter School. The Science Day at Sea program featured lessons on ocean inhabitants, including an up-close encounter with a group of young green sea turtles that were later released into the ocean.
