The U.S. has been in Iraq for over five years now. Some leaders (Bush, McCain, Petraeus) claim we are experiencing success for our efforts. From where I stand, I find success hard to find in our five-year effort. I do not feel any safer now, oil is more expensive than ever, along with the cost of living expenses, and many people are losing their jobs as our national debt gets bigger everyday. So I guess my question to those leaders who would commit to indefinite U.S. presence in Iraq is: What is your definition of success? Because it seems obvious it does not match mine.
