With thousands of gay and lesbian couples flying into California to complete their nuptials, it’s high time Hawai‘i jumps on the bandwagon and legalize gay marriage. As a top honeymoon destination, the island would surely receive an economic boost from the influx of same-sex newlyweds. Considering sexual preferences of so many of our leading politicians, a bill to legalize same sex marriage is a no-brainer. Perhaps some of our big-wig politicos will finally come out of the closet! What a celebration we would enjoy.
