I find it highly ironic that the Department of Water Supply should place an ad saying, “Place sprinklers so that water goes only on the lawn and not on the street or sidewalk.” They are the biggest offenders, not to mention watering during the hottest part of the day. If they took their own advice, we might not be so short on our water supply!
