The Pukalani Club House Restaurant at Pukalani Country Club celebrated its grand reopening on Tuesday, July 1. The restaurant is operated by Leslie Frankel and James Avila.
The Pukalani Club House will operate out of a modified trailer. A covered lanai with a 50-seat capacity offers diners sweeping views of Maui.
Executive Chef Leslie Frankel most recently worked at the Kula Lodge. Frankel is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has previous culinary experience in Las Vegas and in hotels on Maui.
“We are excited about the opportunity to operate the restaurant and use our culinary talents to create island-style dishes,” said Frankel.
The Pukalani Club House is open daily from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for breakfast and lunch. The menu offers island favorites—Hawaiian kalua pork, Korean kalbi ribs, loco moco, specialty sandwiches and more. For more information, contact Chef Frankel at 572-1325.
