"The Weekly Dish" radio show is here to serve you

December 20, 2012 - Trisha Smith
Aloha Maui and beyond!

Did you know you can catch "The Weekly Dish" radio show from Trish da Dish and the Maui Weekly anytime you like?

We've been serving up a delightful recipe for Maui's community and entertainment news since August 2010, and there are no signs we're slowing down.

From Gov. Abercrombie to rocker Lukas Nelson to the environmental heroes like Cheryl King, we've welcomed an array of intriguing visitors to the show broadcasted live from the KAOI Studios in Wailuku each and every Friday morning. Over 250 special guest have "rised" and shined on our airwaves. Thank you!

Hosts Trish da Dish (writer/multi-media journalist Trisha Smith) and Mr. Groovy (musician/production professional Shawn Michael) deliver the latest and greatest mix of news and views that any talk variety show has to offer the isles. We support a fantastic spread of small businesses that rock the isle, and offer a plethora of arts, theatre and music events for all to enjoy across Maui.

Thanks to Paul Janes-Brown for his lively "Let's Talk More... " segments, KAOI for their love, especially our fearless engineer Garry, who puts up with us every week. And, if it wasn't for the Maui Weekly, we're not sure where we would be. What a great platform to launch from! I love this community paper...

And you know what the best part of our lil radio show that could? We keep it real! Talking story, laughing, getting serious or just relating with everyday folks that make this isle so unique. We're very fortunate to report for you, Maui. ;-)

Dig in and see what you've been missing!

Listen live on Friday on KAOI 1110Am/96.7Fm, or stream via the Website link below. You can also visit the www.mauiweekly.com Website for links to recordings, and while you're here, get in-touch with your island and the wonderful people that make it rock! Check out their new look too! Sleek and professional. Love it!

And to all of our fans and listeners, MAHALO! :o)

Happy holidays and take care of each other.

A hui hou,

Trish :o)
