While I sympathize with the poster, VOG will never go away until the volcanos go dormant on the Big Island. We've been coming to Maui since 1990 and don't mind the cane smoke as it's part of the Maui experience as far as I'm concerned. It's a part of Maui history and one that we would hate to see go away. Sugar has always been big business and I hated to see the sugar mill on Oahu go away.
