Broadband and the future of the Internet will be the topic of discussion at the Kihei-Wailea Rotary meeting on Wednesday, Oct.7. The public is invited to hear Jay April, president and CEO Akaku: Maui Community Television, who share his views on topics such as: Will the Internet we have today be anything like the Internet we will be using tomorrow? What is broadband and who are the players? Why is access to a fast, open Internet important to our democracy? How can Maui take full advantage of the digital future?
