Competitors of all shapes, sizes and breeds came out for some fun in the sun during Naish Maui Pro Center’s stand-up paddle race, “Paddle With a Pooch,” on Saturday morning, Oct. 10, in North Kīhei. About 20 teams signed up to compete in single/relay legs. Michi Schweiger and his furry friend, Seal, (front page) won the individual team race. All proceeds to benefit the Boo Boo Zoo (East Maui Animal Refuge). Visit naishmaui.org and boozoo.org.
