Hale Hulu Mamo, Häna’s senior center, will hold its annual “Christmas Fun Fair” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 in the town center. Eagerly awaited by keiki and adults alike, the festivities begin the previous evening, when Santa Claus climbs aboard his motorized sleigh for a spin through the Häna Ranch subdivision, culminating at the Häna town center for Christmas caroling, complimentary cocoa and cookies and the lighting of the community Christmas tree.
The following day, the fair features a giant bake sale, a wide variety of art and craft booths, free photographs with a Hawaiian Santa Claus, a silent auction, a Christmas boutique and a prize drawing. Guests will enjoy continuous entertainment and delicious plate lunches and other food items, which will be served throughout the day.
This is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit, and to have a day of Häna-style family fun.
