Fourth-grade students will sing Hawaiian songs and dance at the event.
All of the money raised will be donated to Pā‘ia Elementary School to support Ka Papahana Kaiapuni Hawai‘i—The Hawaiian Language Immersion Program.
Ka Papahana Kaiapuni - Kula Kaiapuni O Maui at Pā‘ia provides instruction and experiences of Hawaiian culture through the medium of the Hawaiian language while achieving the Department of Education’s Hawai‘i Content and Performance Standards. A strong foundation of Hawaiian culture and values is also instilled in the student’s classrooms.
