This is the second annual run for Women Helping Women sponsored by the Green Banana Café. Last year up to 100 runners off all ages turned out in support of the event.
The Green Banana Café staff are perfect hosts for the early-morning, 7 a.m. run, with plenty of coffee on-hand and this year, a deejay will join the team—a sure-fire recipe to ignite body and soul.
Both races will start and end at the Green Banana Café.
Racers who cross the finish line will be rewarded with a restorative goodies from the café. Awards will be given to the fastest overall male and female finishers in both races (no age divisions). Ribbons will be given to the top three finishers in each age category in both runs.
All participants will be eligible for prize drawings during and after the awards presentations.
Register the day of the race beginning at 6 a.m., or pre-register at the Green Banana Café or Women Helping Women at 1935 Main Street in Wailuku.
Run because you want to—not because you have to, to help raise money for victims of domestic violence.
