Keiki Fest celebrates and supports Hawai‘i’s keiki by providing a low-cost event that will promote a positive, safe and healthy environment. Not only does Keiki Fest bring the community together, families are able to enjoy and celebrate their keiki through various activities.
Admission to Keiki Fest events, giveaways, games, prizes, bouncing castles, face painting, balloons and entertainment are free, thanks to the generous donations of local sponsors and businesses.
Free activities include food demonstrations by Maui 4-H, keiki identification, McGruff the Crime Dog, a car show, vision screening, Kiffman Taekwondo and the Maui Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
2010 Valley Isle Keiki Fest
The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a bike safety challenge and video presentation. Bike safety challenge participants will be eligible to win helmets and safety gear.
Entertainment will include Te Tiare Patitifa, GAMEKIDS, Kalama School ‘Ukulele Band, Neighborhood Place ‘Ukuleles, Derick Sebastian, Marty Dread and Zenshin Daiko.
Ono food available for purchase will include: Ruby’s cheeseburger with fries, beef or turkey cheese sliders with fries, chili and rice, chili dogs, french fries, sweet potato fries and cold beverages. Numerous vendors and informational booths will also be available.
