Maui Historical Society presents exhibit at the Bailey House Museum.

Antique quilts from the Maui Historical Society’s collection will be on exhibit in the Bailey House Museum. 

The $10 admission to the quilt show includes admission to the museum. Children 12 and under are free.

The Maui Historical Society, founded in 1951, is the oldest historical and preservation society on Maui. As a 501(c) 3, donations to the Maui Historical Society are tax deductible to the fullest extent of existing law. Your gift will help the organization collect, preserve, study, interpret and share the history and heritage of Maui. Your gift is a gift that ensures the past is there for future generations.

This quilt, a wedding gift for Luella and Walter Weight, was given to the Maui Historical Society in 1976 by Georgia B. Weight. The design is called “Ku‘u Hae Aloha” or “My Beloved Flag,” made to commemorate the Hawaiian Kingdom.
