August 19, 2010
Maui Weekly

Each club determined the recipients of the school supplies and cash donations. In addition to distributing the supplies to schools across the Valley Isle, monetary donations were distributed to Keiki Kupboard at five schools, the Neighborhood Place and the Homeless Resource Center.

The participating Rotary clubs would like to extend a heartfelt mahalo to the following businesses for allowing members to accept donations: The Pi‘ilani Shopping Center Safeway,Wal-Mart, OfficeMax (both locations) and the Longs Drugs in Kïhei, Lahaina and Upcountry. Rotary club members would also like to recognize the generous contributions of each and every person who donated supplies and cash contributions.
