The Moloka‘i Holokai, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 4, on Labor Day Weekend, is designed, first and foremost, as a competitive venue for the Moloka‘i SUP community. Many of the Friendly Isle’s paddlers often lack resources to attend off-island race events, so this one if for them... but event organizers welcome friendly competition from the neighbor islands!
The Kamalo run is 8.5 miles of pure fun. Tradewinds are funneled through the Pailolo Channel creating consistently strong winds that are almost always directly at your back. Add in pristine water, breath-taking multi-island views and friendly people, and you’ve got an unforgettable event.
The Moloka‘i Holokai is held during Labor Day weekend offers the perfect excuse to visit the Friendly Isle. Hotel Moloka‘i, a major sponsor of the event, is making it even easier by offering paddlers and their families a special room rate throughout the weekend.
