Maui County Mayor Charmaine Tavares will be the featured guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui meeting on Friday, Oct. 1, beginning at 8 a.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Maui in Makawao.
Mayor Tavares, who is running for re-election, will share her platform with Upcountry Rotarians and guests. The public is welcome.
The Rotary Club meets each Friday from 8 to 9 a.m. Breakfast is $13 (optional).
The Boys and Girls Club is located at 931 Makawao Ave. The Rotary club normally meets at Casanova Restaurant each Friday morning from 8 to 9 a.m.
