On Friday, a ceremony will be held at Kukuipuka Heiau from 10 a.m. to noon. On Saturday, the Indigenous Grandmothers will meet at Kanahā Park at the canoe hale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for open council and discussion groups. Laurie Grant will conduct opening ceremony.
Lunch will be available for pre-purchase only. (Orders must be in no later than Thursday, Oct. 28.)
In the afternoon, breakout groups will form to discuss local issues.
Closing ceremonies will take place on Sunday at Kanahä Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Alan Cohen will speak at 11 a.m., followed by a drumming and music ceremony.
