Upcountry Sustainability will present “Introduction to Beekeeping” at Mark and Leah Damon’s Kula farm on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. These experienced and successful beekeepers will discuss the fundamentals of keeping bees on Maui, including equipment, a year’s schedule of duties and the life cycle of honeybees. They will also open a hive and describe its inner workings.
Space is limited. The event is free; donations are welcomed.
