Since 1981, Hospice Maui has been meeting the needs of Maui’s terminally ill patients and their families with quality, compassionate care by professional clinical staff members, and by providing grief support, emotional and spiritual counseling.
Dine Out for Hospice participating restaurants in Kahului include Bistro Casanova, Café O’Lei at the Dunes, Da Kitchen Café, Rainbow Room Restaurant at the Maui Beach Hotel, Ruby’s Diner, Walafel.com and McDonald’s on Dairy Road and Pu‘unēnē Avenue.
Diners can lend their support on Nov. 16 in South Maui by eating at Mala Wailea, and at Oceans Beach Bar and Grill, Mulligan’s On the Blue and Stella Blues Café in Kīhei.
Participating restaurants in West Maui are Café O’Lei Nāpili, Hard Rock Café, Mala Ocean Tavern and the Maui Brewing Company.
Upcountry residents can Dine Out at Café Prana Nui, Casanova, Green Banana Café, Kula Lodge & Restaurant, Market Fresh Bistro and Moana Café.
“The downturn in the economy has affected almost everybody,” said Hospice Maui Executive Director Greg LaGoy. “If we all join together to help our local businesses that support so many people with jobs and paychecks-and then the businesses turn around and support our local nonprofits—we all benefit while also helping to grow our local economy.”
