Rotary Clubs Collect for Food Bank

December 23, 2010
Maui Weekly
Members and friends of Maui’s Rotary clubs collected 7,322 pounds of food and $6,435 for the Maui Food Bank (MFB) during a two-day drive held at seven locations during the weekend before Thanksgiving.

“Because of folks like the Rotary clubs who share our vision, we are able to make sure that no one in our island ‘ohana goes to bed hungry,” said MFB Director of Development Marlene Rice.

The “Rotary Gives Thanks” Food Drive is one of the many community service projects sponsored by Rotary clubs on Maui. Contact Assistant District Governor Mark Harbison at 283-3785.
