“Our talk story is an opportunity for us to hear the community’s concerns and issues prior to the opening of the Legislature,” said Sen. “It will be a time to share the current budget picture, provide updates on community issues and projects, as well as present valuable information on how to lobby the legislature and track various bills and measures on-line.”
“I will work hard with the Senator to address affordable housing, education and healthcare,” said Rep. Fontaine, “and we will work together toward a common vision of building a high school for Kīhei.”
“Rep. Fontaine and I look forward to the upcoming session and to seeing many of our constituents at the Talk Story,” concluded Sen. Baker.
The Legislature convenes on Jan. 19 at 10 a.m.
