Considered one of Maui’s top events of the year, the 2011 event theme is “The Canine Canteen: Swing the Night Away,” so dust off your sailor suits, get out those vintage gowns and plan to have a good time while helping Maui’s furry friends.
Proceeds from the annual Fur Ball support the Maui Humane Society in its efforts to serve the community and provide care and compassion to Maui’s animals.

The gala evening will begin at 5 p.m. in the Haleakalā Ballroom with dinner, live and silent auctions, entertainment, a swing dance contest and many surprises that are so secret even the event organizers don’t know about them yet! Then boogie on over to the Canine Canteen Discotheque After-Party at the resort’s Tsunami Night Club and trip the light fantastic with DJ Dan Viola. (The nightclub will be open one night only for this special event.)
Also, the Grand Wailea is offering special room rates to Fur Ball guests who want to enjoy an overnight or weekend “fur-cation” at the resort.
