She went on to encourage the nine volunteer citizens, saying they “… have an opportunity to say, ethics must matter.” She urged them to penalize the person before them to the fullest extent of their authority and make a statement to Maui County that ethics matter to us.
So here we are, a year-and-a-half later, and her buddy, Mike White, now stands before the Board of Ethics accused of ethics violations. Let’s see if Rasmussen still sings the same tune.
