Bumpy sidewalk better than none

People are complaining about the monkey pod trees ruining their strolls on the sidewalk? At least there is a sidewalk! Try to walk, push a stroller, or ride a bike on most of South Kīhei Road north of the monkey pods. There are no sidewalks! That bumpy walkway under the beautiful trees won’t seem so bad after you’ve dodged death on that stretch. Keep the trees and that sidewalk!
