The most overlooked maintenance item I see on Maui is antifreeze. Even though it never freezes here, it’s critical to keep a 50-50 mix of antifreeze and water in the cooling system. Antifreeze contains lubricants and rust inhibitors that prevent components from rusting and causing major engine and radiator repairs.
