But common sense and logic have been thrown to the wind. For some reason, the administration believes that by removing this small, stable cat population, their grounds will miraculously remain free of cats. Quite the opposite is a more likely outcome. Without an established group of “resident” animals their territory will just be taken over by un-neutered ferals. There is no way the hospital can keep other cats from moving into this “vacated” territory.
I would urge all of you who support the concept of the “Trap, Neuter, Release” program to write, email or call Wes Lo, the hospital’s chief administrative officer, and protest this misguided action.
