My treatment at Maui Memorial Medical Center was flawless. Within a short time of arriving, I underwent surgery to implant a 33cm rod through the shaft of my femur. I spent five days in critical care, and then another five days in the hospital before being discharged to fly home.
Despite the significant nature of my injury, my prospects of making a full recovery are very good, due, in the main, to the high level of care I received in this hospital. I am indebted to their staff. I also wish to thank those people, previously unknown to me, who came to visit.
