“Please do not dump your material on us when we are closed,” said Mary McMahon program administrator. “It is a community eye-sore and a danger to both passersby and ecycling workers.”
Service will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and continue each Saturday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (last load will be accepted by 12:30 p.m.) unless otherwise noted.
The ecycling program accepts everything with a circuit board (except household appliances), including computers, televisions, and all accessories, audio, phones and gaming devices.
“A good test for your item is one easy question,” said McMahon. “Does it cool or heat? If it does, ecycling does not take it. We do not take microwaves, water coolers, hair dryers, etc.
If you have a large load (more than a pickup truck full), call the ecycling load line at 280-6460.
