Instructor Wilma Nakamura will explain how to convert your yard waste and kitchen scraps into a rich compost for your plants, “just like nature intended!” Learn the basics of composting, setup options, compost application and troubleshooting.
Outdoor compost bins will be available for purchase at a reduced price. Vermicomposting will be introduced and red wiggler worms will be in attendance.
The workshop is held the second Saturday of each month at the MOA Center in Kahului, 640 Kamehameha Ave.
