The Associated Press - Another top member of Gov. Neil Abercrombie's administration is resigning. Gov. Abercrombie's communications director, Josh Levinson, sent an email Friday informing his staff that he was leaving, said spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz.
The resignation comes a day after Amy Asselbaye, Gov. Abercrombie's chief of staff, and Andrew Aoki, her deputy, announced they are stepping down at the end of the month for family reasons. Levinson cited their resignations, along with family reasons, as factors in his decision to leave, Dela Cruz said. All three staffers played key roles in Gov. Abercrombie's 2010 gubernatorial campaign. Asselbaye was the operations director, Aoki was deputy campaign manager, and Levinson was field organizer. No time frame has been established for how long he will stay on the job.
