The fifth period seventh-grade math class of the Niu Team will run a Maui Made Market at Lokelani School in Kihei on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The market, which features local vendors who sell products, produce and food made only in Hawai'i, is a fundraiser for an end-of-the-year trip to Hawai'i Island.
The school plans to hold the market once a month.
Organizers are seeking vendors for their market to be held in and around the cafeteria. Booths inside the cafeteria are $50 and those outside the cafeteria are $40.
The students are interested in all products made in Maui, farm produce and food vendors. If you are interested in participating as a vendor, call Peggy Temple for an application at 875-6800, ext. 233, or in the evening at 205-4712.
