He found the perfect jack-o'-lantern in a Kula pumpkin patch. Trey Akin, a 3-year-old boy from Kula, enjoyed an afternoon of pumpkin picking at Kula Country Farms on Sunday, Oct. 23. The farm, located on Kula Highway across from Rice Park, offers a huge pumpkin patch selection, along with farm fresh produce, jams and jellies, as well as pumpkin butter, a seasonal favorite. The roadside stand is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
