Maui Canoe Club will host a "Paddle for Food" drive on Friday, Nov. 11. Simply bring one or more non-perishable food items and receive a free half-hour-long padding session in the club's Hawaiian outrigger canoes.
All donations will be given to the Maui Food Bank.
The club will host four separate paddling sessions that morning at 7:30, 8, 8:30 and 9 a.m. Paddlers are asked to arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes early.

During the week of Nov. 5 to 11, the public is invited to fill the club's Kau Kau Canoe located in front of the club with non-perishable food items for a food drive to benefit the people of the island.
Maui Canoe Club is located on Sugar Beach along North Kihei Road just north of the Kealia Condominiums. Look for the red, white and blue canoes.
Maui Canoe Club has a growing membership that now exceeds 200 paddlers. The club's primary mission is to provide recreational paddling opportunities.
Maui residents and visitors are invited to paddle with the club every Monday through Friday morning at 6, 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.
