Hui No'eau warmly welcomes your participation in First Night, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The official grand opening of Maui's celebrated holiday tradition, Hui Holidays, First Night, offers a joyful opportunity to refresh your spirit, get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping with thoughtful and unique Maui-made items, and to celebrate alongside artists, friends and the hui community.

Hui Holidays features handmade gifts by hui artists including, jewelry, ceramics, prints, fiber, photography, glass and paintings, plus handmade ornaments and much more.

The one-night-only First Night grand opening will offer a dramatic presentation of the Kaluanui estate with the help of designer/choreographer Andr Morrisette, who will reveal his enchanting holiday window installations during this one-time event.

Enjoy a festive cocktail, dine on delectable pupu, watch the sunset, stop by a special locally made tea and coffee tasting by Coffees of Hawai'i, and listen to spirited music-all while completing your holiday shopping.

Meet artists including, ceramists Kate Eifler, Barbara Liniger, Katie Lutz, Robert and Linda Sajdak, and Deb Zaleski, and jewelers Galit Breman, Karla Scarlatti and Stanette Tanno-Kirchhof.
