A ceremony for the 28th Recruit Class graduation for the Maui County Department of Fire and Public Safety was held on Friday, Dec. 2, at Maui Tropical Plantation. Thirteen recruits graduated after 22 weeks of formal training.
The recruits in the 28th Recruit Class are Jonathan Duncan, Joshua Dukes, Cory Palmeira, Loea Chang, Vance Pu, Aaron Hughes, Chad Leggett, Keola Nakoa, Michael Neubauer, Matthew Paet, Jerime Storey, Elven Ventura and Steven Warther.
