Track Santa With NORAD on Christmas Eve

December 21, 2011
Debra Lordan , The Maui Weekly

Thanks to Google North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), children can follow Santa's annual trip from the North Pole to their hale online again this year.

Every holiday season, Google partners with NORAD to track Santa's Christmas Eve journey in 3D with Google Earth (www.google.com/earth/index.html) and Google Maps (maps.google.com).

With NORAD Tracks Santa at www.noradsanta.org, families can watch Santa as he delivers presents all over the globe-including Maui, that is, of course, if the island's keiki have been good this year.

Set a reminder for 2 a.m. EST on Dec. 24 to start tracking Santa in real-time!

If your phone is handy on Christmas Eve, you can also search for Santa on Google Maps for mobile www.google.com/mobile/maps to track his journey on the go.
