The Associated Press - Hawaiian Airlines will be adding a third daily flight between Los Angeles and Honolulu on a year-round basis. The flight was previously offered during seasonal peak summer travel. Starting in June, the third flight will depart Los Angeles International Airport daily at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at Honolulu International Airport at 1:10 p.m. The current two flights depart Los Angeles at 8:55 a.m. and 5:05 p.m.
The airline also announced that service between Sydney and Honolulu would be upgraded with new, larger Airbus 330 aircraft, adding almost 11,000 seats per year.
Hawaiian previously announced it would increase the Sydney-Honolulu route from five flights per week to daily service starting today.
