The 2012 Valley Isle Keiki Fest organizers are seeking crafters and nonprofit organization vendors to participate in this year's event on Saturday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Great Lawn at University of Hawai'i Maui College (UHMC).
Vendors are asked to participate in the 2012 Valley Isle Keiki Fest, an annual event that promotes a positive, safe and healthy environment and a community in which keiki can be safe, healthy and ready to succeed.
This year's theme is "Celebrating the Keiki April, the Month of the Young Child."
In 2011, this popular event attracted an estimated 7,000 attendees.
Organizers are seeking vendors that focus on children from birth to age 12. The vendor fee is $125. The fee will be waived for nonprofit groups that provide "hands on" activities for children.
The registration deadline is March 30.
The Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle, 4H Maui, County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation, and most recently, UHMC and the Boys & Girls Club, have all contributed to the celebration.
