Lokelani Best Buddies Give Back

March 22, 2012
The Maui Weekly

More than 20 members from the Best Buddies Chapter at Lokelani Intermediate School and their faculty advisors cleaned all the playground equipment at South Maui Community Park on Monday, March 5.

They got the idea for their annual community service project after hearing about a Baldwin High School community service project at Keopuolani Regional Park in Wailuku completed last year by their older Best Buddies counterparts.

Every Best Buddies chapter is required to complete community service projects as part of their leadership development.
