The Realtors Association of Maui has released a report indicating that condo sales on Maui have risen drastically in the last month. The report shows the prices of condos are up as well.
February condo sales were 128 units compared to 81 the previous month. Most of the sales were in Kihei, where 36 units sold at a median price of $289,950. In Napili, 25 units sold for a median of $263,000. Island-wide, the condo median price rose to $370,000.
Homes sold remained steady at 80 for the month of March compared to 78 for February 2012. Compared to a year ago, March sales are down from 89 sold. Residential median price of a home dropped to $432,500 from $450,000 last year.
